The Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution College of Engineering at Texas A&M University invites applications for 3 part-time or full-time Academic Professional Track (Non-Tenure) or Visiting (Non-Tenure) positions at the visiting assistant professor visiting associate professor visiting professor (visiting) lecturer (visiting) senior lecturer (visiting) principal lecturer (visiting) instructional assistant professor (visiting) instructional associate professor (visiting) instructional professor (visiting) associate professor of the practice and (visiting) professor of the practice levels with the titles and ranks depending on background qualifications and experience with a 4.5-month or 9-month academic appointment and the possibility of an additional summer appointment contingent upon need and availability of funds beginning in spring 2026. Successful applicants will be required to teach; advise and mentor graduate students; develop an independent externally funded research program (if applicable); participate in all aspects of the departments activities; and serve the profession.

The Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution is unique among the 15 departments within the College of Engineering due to its strong focus on applied research and undergraduate education. The Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution Department blends engineering and business knowledge methods and research. This department consists of four distinct undergraduate programs and three graduate programs - two distance education and one resident graduate program. Minors in Embedded Systems Integration Technical Sales and Information Technology Services Management are also available.
