Join our team at McNeilus Trucks and Manufacturing an Oshkosh Corporation company as a Senior this key role you will provide accounting and financial support across our organization partnering with Finance FP&A and other departments to deliver accurate financial results and ensure compliance with corporate policies. Youll play an integral role in the monthly close process general ledger accounting reconciliations and financial reporting while helping drive continuous improvement in our financial systems and processes.
YOUR IMPACT
- Lead and execute monthly close activities including journal entries reconciliations and preparation of financial reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP and Oshkosh Corporate Accounting Policies (CAPP).
- Analyze and prepare monthly results for management partnering with other departments to address business issues and financial impacts.
- Reconcile research and resolve discrepancies within balance sheet accounts.
- Support internal and external audits capital budgeting tax compliance and intercompany settlements.
- Maintain and enhance internal control procedures including Sarbanes-Oxley documentation.
- Participate in business systems improvements and ensure the effectiveness of financial processes.
- Champion Oshkoshs People First culture by engaging developing and connecting with team members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Accounting.
- Four (4) or more years of related accounting or treasury experience.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Experience in public accounting or auditing.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint SharePoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with U.S. accounting standards and regulations.

Pay Range:
$82000.00 - $132800.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
