Alignment Health is seeking an compassionate organized and customer service-oriented bilingual Spanish front office medical receptionist to join the Access Primary Care Physicians team of physicians and medical assistants in our Placentia CA clinic for a long-term temporary engagement (with medical benefits). As a front office medical receptionist you will provide patient-oriented service in a clinical front office setting and performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of patient care.

Individuals with front office medical assistant experience experience supporting multiple providers and high call volume experience are highly encouraged to apply.

Schedule: Mondays - Fridays
- 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Pacific Time or
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Time

Note: Alignment Health is continuing to expand so there is a possibility the position could extend and / or convert based on budget business need and individual performance.

General Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients in a friendly service-oriented manner in compliance with policies and workflows.

  • Answer multiple phone lines directs calls and takes messages as needed.

  • Check-in patients ensure medical records / charts have been pulled patient data is current appropriate paperwork is in order and charts are reviewed / prepared.

  • Check-out patients schedule follow up appointments collect co-payment if applicable ensuring paperwork is complete.

  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

Required: Minimum 2 years experience in medical reception and customer service.

Preferred: Experience working with the Medicare population.

Education:

Required: High school diploma; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background required.

Preferred: Medical assistant certification from an accredited school of training.

Specialized Skills:

Required:

  • Bilingual English and Spanish.

  • Able to navigate challenging and / or emotional customer situations.

  • Able to follow instructions and respond to management direction.

  • Treat people with respect and keep commitments

Pay Range: $41600.00 - $57600.00

Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location education responsibilities experience etc.
