The purpose of this role is to undertake assigned planned maintenance and asset lifecycle replacement project works across our accounts ranging across Commercial industry.

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Licensed Plumber to join the CW team as a Leading Hand.

In this key role you will be responsible for delivering planned maintenance and asset lifecycle replacement projects across our commercial accounts. You will also support estimation and quoting activities while assisting management with the day-to-day operations of the business.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Perform changeover/replacement works based on our clients asset lifecycle program schedules at multiple facilities across Adelaide and Rural Areas.

  • Urgent routine & ad-hoc maintenance repairs inspections on clients premises and equipment as directed by the company.

  • Working autonomously or in a team environment for large or small project works.

  • Undertake and record PRA Job Safety Analysis prior to commencement of tasks.

  • Liaise closely with key stakeholders and C&W staff to ensure they are aware of any disruption to services by any works undertaken.

  • Ensure effective Key Performance Indicators are managed effectively including response times safety compliance and financial performance of all job numbers assigned to you.

About You

You will be a self-motivated individual that can work in a team environment and autonomously with an ability to maintain tools and equipment (including safety equipment) plant items and hired plant items. Your role may require helping other trades within the team and work may not purely be plumbing based.

Flexible working hours as some sites may require afternoon or night works to be completed depending on the required task.

You will also have an excellent eye for detail to ensure that technical procedures and inspection test plans are performed safely and in accordance with Quality Assurance requirements.

You Will Also Have

  • Relevant Trade Qualification / minimum 2 years maintenance experience Gasfitting licence Gasfitting Type A appliances water supply and domestic hot water.

  • Roofing/Guttering (storm water) registration Highly Desired.

  • Cert 4 qualified Plumber.

  • Experience in fault finding and diagnosis.

  • EWP Licence.

  • Australian Police Clearance Check.

  • Working with childrens check.

  • Valid Manual Drivers Licence.

  • OH&S Risk Management Environmental Management or Quality Assurance systems.

  • Own hand tools fit for purpose; specialised tools provided by company.

  • Ability to work comfortably within a Maximum-Security correctional facility.
