Our Melbourne operations play a key role in ensuring efficient processing packaging and distribution of seed across Australia. We have a team of about 20 in the warehouse and another 20 in the office. Our purpose-built facility in Truganina is a safe and friendly environment.

The Role

We are seeking a hands on Leading Hand Processing to join our Melbourne Warehouse team. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day processing activities ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate manufacturing tasks within the processing room
• Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and operational procedures.
• Monitor workflow and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets.
• Support and train team members to achieve performance goals.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a processing environment ideally in a leading hand role.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to guide and motivate a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ideally experienced LF Forklift licence preferable reach truck we can train.
