We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join our team.
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all material preparation inventory control and tool management to support solar installation and electrical teams. This role ensures every project is fully equipped with accurate materials and tools helping field teams operate efficiently on time and at the highest standard of quality.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Bill of Materials (BOM) Preparation:
Create and maintain accurate BOMs for all install and electrical jobs ensuring materials align with design plans and field requirements. - Material Readiness:
Prepare label and stage materials for install and electrical trucks daily to ensure crews leave the warehouse fully stocked. - Inventory Management:
Track and reconcile inventory using warehouse software; maintain accurate stock counts and prevent shortages. - Tool Tracking & Accountability:
Implement and maintain a system to log tool checkouts returns and repairs; track usage across teams to minimize loss or damage. - Reordering & Procurement:
Monitor material levels and proactively order parts hardware and consumables to support upcoming projects. - Warehouse Organization:
Keep the warehouse clean structured and optimized for efficient loading unloading and inventory access. - Team Coordination:
Work closely with install electrical and operations teams to anticipate material needs and prevent on-site delays. - Data Accuracy:
Log all material movements tool usage and purchase orders accurately in warehouse management software. - Safety & Compliance:
Maintain a safe compliant and well-organized workspace in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse or logistics management experience within the solar industry (required).
- Strong understanding of solar installation processes racking wiring and balance-of-system components to identify what each job requires.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in warehouse or inventory management software.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across departments.
- Reliable responsible and proactive in anticipating needs and solving problems.
- Valid drivers license and ability to assist with deliveries if needed.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced high-volume operational environment.
