Job Summary
Pay Range: $68640 to $74500 per year
PURPOSE OF POSITION: To learn all aspects of fryer production operations to become able to supervise employees and all fryer ranch functions.
- Hands-on training in all aspects of fryer production.
- Controlling and maintaining bird health with aid of all available
- resources.
- Monitoring all ranch grow out functions.
- Insuring accurate coordination and/or completion of labor needs
- Becoming knowledgeable about personnel related activities (i.e. employee relations labor laws accident investigations etc.)
- Learn to conduct employee orientations and/ or training.
Qualifications :
- Strong Animal Science background (a Bachelor of Science Degree in Poultry/Animal Science Ag-Business or related field preferred).
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must have strong leadership/supervisor skills with the ability to act independently and be able to evaluate fairly and objectively.
- Must be able to work flexible work schedules as needed to include weekends holidays late and early morning hours.
- Must have good computer skills and the ability to create and analyze data.
- Ability to interface with all support groups departments and upper management.
- Must be able to work independently/ unsupervised and have strong time management skills.
- Must have a valid Class C Drivers License and maintain a good DMV driving record.
- Must be able to follow and enforce all company policies and guidelines including bio-security and animal welfare policies and guidelines.
- Must be detailed oriented and have a strong mechanical mathematical and analytical aptitude.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
