We are seeking a skilled API Specialist with a background in providing support across API and Applications. This role will require an understanding to break down technical issues within applications and interfaces between applications be able to evaluate current and new applications and develop scalable architectures to support applications and any interfaces between applications while acting as a Project Manager with waterfall or agile lifecycles.
This position is onsite in Lake County 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Serve as technical expert or lead projects/programs and technical staff to develop test and implement significant new products or operational improvements or devise new approaches to problems at the division/business unit.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex issues providing technical solutions to resolve challenges with software hardware or system functionality.
- Proactively monitor and suggest improvements to applications tools and processes to enhance lab efficiency data accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g. FDA ISO).
- Develop and maintain documentation for applications user guides and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 6 years experience; Masters Degree with 5 years experience; PhD with 0 years experience.
- Experience in Information Technology Computer Science or Computer Engineering (in addition to equivalent experience listed above if applicable).
- Experience with APIs and providing technical application support in a large enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (GxP 21 CFR Part 11 ISO standards) and lab best practices.
- Solid experience with project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall) and tools (JIRA Trello MS Project etc.).
