Job Summary

Role: AWS Application Platform Engineer

Location: Berkeley Heights NJ

Role Focus

Application-level telemetry AWS instrumentation and event generation to eliminate observability blind spots.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure AWS and application stacks emit high-quality metrics logs and events.
Enable end-to-end visibility into backlogs settlement flows and transaction health.
Support enterprise observability platforms with clean well-correlated signals.

Core Skill Requirements

Strong hands-on AWS development experience including:
- Compute: EC2 Fargate Lambda
- Databases: RDS DynamoDB
- Networking: VPC
- Storage: S3
- APIs: API Gateway
- CDN: CloudFront
- Security: IAM
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as CDK CloudFormation or Terraform.
Ability to build scalable manageable AWS applications using modern deployment tools like CodePipeline.

Nice to Have

JVM-based application support (Java / Spring).
CI/CD deployment telemetry using Git Jenkins GitHub Actions.
Experience with Payments / BFSI systems.
