Job Summary
Join the Pre-Opening Team at Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort Director of Finance
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of the Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort a stunning new property set to open in 2026 in the heart of Moroccos picturesque coastline.
As a key member of the executive team you will play a pivotal role in shaping the resorts financial strategy from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to influence the success of a pre-opening hotel by implementing robust financial systems driving profitability and aligning financial goals with Marriotts brand standards and owner priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic financial planning and budgeting for the property
- Develop and execute business plans that drive financial performance
- Establish strong internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide analytical support to operational departments and ownership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field (Masters preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in finance or accounting within hospitality or a related industry
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Experience in pre-opening or new hotel launches is a plus
- English required and French desired.
