Description:

project44 is looking for a Intern - Data Science / ML Engineering to join our engineering team. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment designing building and implementing best-in-class products for our customers around the world.

We are looking for a passionate Data Science Intern to join our data science and machine learning operations team. You will work on real-world supply chain datasets to build models derive insights and support ongoing projects across predictive modeling ML model deployment and monitoring and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Collect clean and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.

Develop statistical and machine learning models to solve business problems.

Support ongoing experiments and model performance tracking.

Work with other engineering teams to automate data pipelines and model deployments.

Visualize insights through dashboards and reports (eg: Streamlit).

Communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Python and libraries such as pandas NumPy scikit-learn matplotlib seaborn.

Solid understanding of classical ML algorithms regression and classification models unsupervised algorithms time series forecasting anomaly detection

Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Working knowledge of data visualization tools.

Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

An experimental mindset and willingness to adopt a fail-fast strategy

Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Exposure to deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch).

Experience with Snowflake Spark or AWS/GCP platforms.

Familiarity with MLOps concepts like model versioning deployment and monitoring

Prior internship or academic project involving real-world datasets.

Education

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Data Science Statistics Mathematics or related fields.
