Client:Our client is a global market leader of solutions in Engineering and Manufacturing servicing the worlds mining & resources sectors.
About The Role:
We are currently seeking a diligent & experienced Warehouse Operative to perform various logistics processes assisting in stock & inventory control for the manufacturing & maintenance department located in Jandakot payrate is $41.18ph plus penalties working 6 am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday overtime offered when available.
In this role you would be responsible for the following:
- Receive correct parts and quantities in time and on time
- Assist with stock counts Wall to wall and cycle counts
- Receiving of inbound purchase orders or transfer orders
- Put-away/binning of stock
- Picking and packing of orders
- Assist in accurately and methodically preparing shipping/export documentation for relevant orders
- Maintains and update warehouse and Admin Data/ IT systems
- Reports any discrepancies Regarding inventory safety and other anomalies
- Handles customer queries when requested to sort out relevant issues (Internal and external customers)
- Make deliveries to customer locations on rotation (internal and external)
- Participates in continuous improvement projects
- LPS support
- Ensure that all warehouse equipment is working properly and that safety procedures are followed
- Warehouse administration and housekeeping
This position is set for immediate start successful candidate will possess
- Experience within Warehouse/inventory control/Stores
- Current Forklift Ticket & experience (Reach & Counterbalance)
- SAP experience preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Own transport
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to pass a Pre - Employment Medical
- Happy to participate (and pass) in random Drug & Alcohol testing
- Relevant experience/knowledge of OH&S
- Full Working rights/ Australian Resident
- Clean police clearance
