The Role
The school is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join a strong Key Stage 2 team. As part of a three-form entry structure you will benefit from shared planning established schemes of work and the support of experienced colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging high-quality lessons for Year 4 pupils.
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress to ensure all learners achieve their potential.
- Working collaboratively with parallel Year 4 teachers and the wider KS2 team to plan and share best practice.
- Creating a positive inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers to support childrens learning and development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) no ECTs for this post.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 ideally Year 4.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- A commitment to high standards of teaching learning and pupil progress.
