Job Summary

Position Summary

The Senior HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting all aspects of the Human Resources function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will oversee and execute day-to-day HR operations including employee relations payroll compliance recruiting onboarding benefits administration and policy implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local state and federal employment laws and regulations as well as experience managing HR processes in a manufacturing or industrial setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary HR point of contact for employees and managers providing guidance on HR policies employee relations and performance management.

  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local labor laws (EEO FMLA ADA FLSA OSHA etc.).

  • Conduct and document employee relations investigations disciplinary actions and conflict resolutions with fairness and consistency.

  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy timeliness and compliance with all wage and hour regulations.

  • Support full-cycle recruitment efforts including job postings interviewing hiring and onboarding new employees.

  • Manage and administer employee benefits leave programs and open enrollment processes.

  • Maintain and update employee records HRIS data and personnel files in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Partner with supervisors and leadership to improve workplace culture employee engagement and retention.

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies procedures and best practices to align with organizational goals.

  • Support safety and compliance initiatives in partnership with EHS and Operations teams.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5 years of progressive HR experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of federal state and local employment laws.

  • Experience with payroll processing systems and HRIS platforms.

  • Proven ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic fast-paced setting.

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
