As the Code Enforcement Manager youll supervise personnel of the Code Enforcement Unit prepare schedules work with citizens and other city personnel in conflict resolution and project management and make personnel related recommendations to the Police Chief. Youll also enforce Pueblo Municipal Code and ordinances testify in court trials and hearings and prepare all required records including notice of violations summons and staff reports for hearings. Qualifications :
- At least 21 years of age at the time of application; and
- A valid drivers license at the time of application and a valid Colorado drivers license within 30 days of employment
- License restrictions that may hinder your ability to drive on City business such as an interlock will be cause for disqualification
- During the course of employment a valid license must be maintained and the employee must notify the City immediately upon changes to the status of their license
- 3 years of experience conducting investigations including preparation and case management for court proceedings
- A bachelors degree
OR
A high school diploma with at least three (3) years of experience as a Code Enforcement Officer or similar title including leadership experience and training such as Colorado Code Enforcement Officers Association Basic or Advanced Certification.
