About the Role

Synergie Australia are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our growing team based in Prestons NSW. This is an ongoing full-time position supporting our service department with the installation maintenance and repair of engineered pump systems across a variety of commercial and industrial projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical or electrical trade background and experience working with pumping systems. This role is suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving takes pride in their workmanship and thrives in a fast-paced field-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance fault diagnosis breakdown response and repair work on pumping systems.

• Install and commission new pump systems to meet project and compliance requirements.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults and implement practical efficient solutions.

• Maintain clear professional communication with both internal teams and external clients.

• Complete service documentation accurately and on time.

• Ensure full compliance with safety procedures and WHS regulations.

• Participate in toolbox talks and contribute to a proactive safety culture.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in service operations and processes.

What Were Looking For

Required:

• Trade qualification in Electrical Plumbing or Mechanical Fitting

• Disconnect/Reconnect Licence (minimum)

• Confined Space Certification

• Construction Induction Card (White Card)

• Valid Australian Drivers Licence

• Sound experience in mechanical or electrical servicing ideally within pumps or related systems

• Ability to work independently and manage service callouts efficiently

• Strong communication problem-solving and time management skills

• Solid understanding of WHS procedures and field safety requirements

Desirable:

• Electrical Licence

• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Licence

• Working at Heights Certification

• Experience with hydraulic systems and pump controls (VSDs panels etc.)
