What you will do
The Suppression Technician III (also known as a Route Service & Sales Representative) will maintain a route servicing existing fire extinguisher kitchen hoods e-light and pre-engineered and possibly engineered gas system customers. Inspect service repair and install two or more suppression product lines emergency lights fire extinguishers pre-engineered and industrial systems according to safety requirements and manufacturers specifications.
How you will do it
This position is primarily a technician role with some sales responsibilities. Make recommendations based on manufacturers specifications and state/local codes. Identify deficiencies. Quote sell and repair on-site. Up-sell existing customers to new product offerings and services to meet compliance with current fire code regulations. High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Must have or meet the requirements for an Extinguisher and pre-engineered permit.
Willing and able to make cold calls to potential new business approximately 2-3 hours per week.
Flexibility with working hours including occasional nights and weekends to support customer needs
High School diploma or equivalent.
Able and willing to be on-call one week per month for kitchen suppression.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and carry for up to 50 yards.
Positive attitude self-motivated strong organizational.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
1 years of customer service experience.
Able to pass a drug and background check.
Preferred
2 5 or more years of experience with service in the fire protection industry.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE:$19.23 - $27.40 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experience knowledgeskills and abilities of the applicant internal equity location and alignment with market data.)
