Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week
Status: Temporary Full-Time (12 Month Contract)

Duties
- Facilitate and coordinate the submission of application forms for access to medication assistance for outpatients
- Serve as the centralized point of contact for physicians nurses social workers and pharmacists and will be actively involved with government community based and private agencies that provide financial assistance for medications
- Serve as an advisor to patients families and health care providers regarding medication access and reimbursement
Qualifications :
- At minimum completion of a two year community college program in an Allied Health related discipline or recognized equivalent required
- At minimum two years practical and related experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in rheumatology oncology ophthalmology or related Outpatient setting
- Knowledge and experience with public and private medication access/reimbursement programs and relevant agencies
- Knowledge in specialty drugs (eg. rheumatology ophthalmology hepatology etc.); as asset
