About the role

Mater Private Hospital Rockhamptonare seekingHospitality Services Assistants with multiple positions available to join the team on acasual basis with the potential to progress to a permanent part-time position.

Salary range: $31.24-$33.68 per hour plus 23% Casual Loading plus superannuationandaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!

What youll be doing

In this role you will contribute to the delivery of effective cleaning and hygiene services todelegated areas of the Hospital as well as preparing assembling and deliveringpatient meals across a variety of shifts.

Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton has been supporting the health of people living in Central Queensland for more than a century. Our heritage listed Kenmore building was purchased by the Sisters of Mercy in 1915 and opened as the first Mater Misericordiae Hospital north of Brisbane on 14 November in the same year.

About you

For this position we offer the opportunity to expand your skillset by gaining experience in our kitchen and hospitality team food services room service and cleaning areas where suitable.

Shifts are available across a 7-day week with a range of shifts such as 6:00am to 2:00pm 7:00am to 3:00pm and 2:45pm to 9:00pm.

We are ideally looking for candidates that have:

• Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to recognise and prioritise tasks effectively
• Knowledge of current food hygiene principles and practices
• Ability to engage with a variety of people
• A strong sense of commitment to delivering high-quality service and continuous improvement
