Job Summary

Opportunity to join our Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit to provide overall support for both industry sponsored and investigator-initiated research activities relating to Medical Oncology provide assistance with laboratory processing including the collection receipt and store of all biological specimens and support the development of quality standard operating procedures (SOPs) site-specific protocols and processes for the unit.

This is a 12 month fixed-term full-time role based in Richmond. You will be part of the Epworths Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit and report to the Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Manager.

You will make an impact by:

  • Providing support for both industry sponsored and investigator-initiated research activities relating to Medical Oncology.
  • Providing assistance with laboratory processing including the collection receipt and store of all biological specimens.
  • Supporting the development of quality of standard operating procedures (SOPs) site-specific protocols and processes for the unit
  • Supporting all clinical research data entry requirements
  • Assisting with general administrative work that pertains to Medical Oncology.

To be successful in this role
A natural communicator you have a caring supportive and empathetic approach. Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team you are able to build effective working relationships with your colleagues key stakeholders and sponsors.  

You will have:

  • Minimum of 1 years experience in a clinical setting within a hospital or pharmaceuticals setting
  • Previous experience working with tissue/blood sample collections processing and storage
  • Excellent time management skills are able to manage multiple priorities and have a keen eye for detail.
