As a Lecturer in Small Animal Clinical Studies at the University of Melbourne you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of veterinary education and clinical practice. You will have the opportunity to deliver innovative teachingacrossthe Doctor of Veterinary Medicineprogramme while collaborating closely with esteemed partners likeGreencrossVeterinary Hospital.

You will also hold (or be making significant progress towards) an intermediate level post-graduate clinical qualification in diagnostic imaging such as Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists or the Certificate of Advanced Veterinary Practice from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver Excellence in Veterinary Education: Teach and train across all years of the DVMprogramme ensuring high-quality student experiences and clinical competencies.

• Provide Outstanding Clinical Service: Collaborate withGreencrossVeterinary Hospital to deliver seamless veterinary care and mentor students in clinical rotations.

• Lead and Innovate: Develop curriculum contribute to interdisciplinary teaching and enhance student learning through innovative educational practices.

• Foster Collaboration and Leadership: Build partnerships with industry and stakeholders engage in professional activities and promote a diverse and inclusive environment.

You will have a veterinary degree registrable in Victoria with experience in diagnostic imaging and a passion for innovative teaching and clinical service.

You also have:

• Are a passionate educator with experience in teaching innovativeprogrammesin diverse settings.

• Possess strongorganisationalskills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.

• Haveexcellent interpersonal skills and can build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

• Demonstrate the ability to mentor and supervise clinical staff and students effectively.
