Finance Business Partner Plant-Based Business Unit
Overview:
The Finance Business Partner will oversee the financial health and strategic planning of the companys new plant-based business unit. This role is responsible for ensuring sound financial controls accurate reporting and effective risk management in compliance with GAAP. The position will serve as a key advisor to management driving profitability through financial insight operational support and strategic business partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership for all aspects of finance and controlling operations setting long-term direction aligned with business goals.
Establish and maintain robust accounting policies procedures and internal controls in compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations.
Prepare review and interpret financial statements budgets forecasts and operating performance reports.
Oversee month-end closing activities balance sheet reviews and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Lead the companys forecasting budgeting and long-range financial planning processes.
Collaborate with other finance teams in preparing materials for management board and investor presentations.
Direct audit preparations and act as the main liaison with internal and external auditors.
Ensure full compliance with all financial tax and management reporting requirements.
Partner cross-functionally with operations supply chain and commercial teams to drive cost efficiencies revenue optimization and profitability.
Oversee CAPEX management investment analysis and project evaluation including performance tracking of by-products and tolling operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field; CPA preferred.
Minimum of 58 years of progressive experience in auditing general accounting and financial/cost analysis.
At least 23 years in a supervisory or people management role.
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP financial controls and reporting standards.
Proven experience in budgeting forecasting and strategic financial planning.
Excellent analytical leadership and communication skills.
Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environment is an advantage.
