Commercial / Procurement / Process Improvement Manager

6-Month Contract $85 $100 per hour Perth or FIFO

About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Commercial / Procurement / Process Improvement Manager to join a mid-tier mining and resources business undergoing a major Pronto ERP implementation and commercial systems uplift. The successful candidate will play a key role in building efficient procurement contract and commercial governance processes as the organisation scales its operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the rollout of Pronto ERP focusing on procurement and commercial functionality.
  • Review document and improve procure-to-pay and contract management workflows.
  • Develop and implement commercial policies templates and governance frameworks.
  • Provide strategic input into vendor selection tendering and supplier management.
  • Partner with corporate and site teams to ensure accurate data integration and consistency.
  • Deliver end-user training and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive value creation through cost analysis risk assessment and commercial insight.

Skills & Experience

  • 8 years experience in commercial procurement or process improvement roles within mining construction or heavy industry.
  • Proven exposure to ERP implementation (Pronto experience highly regarded).
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience designing and implementing processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across site and corporate environments.
  • Advanced Excel and systems literacy; Power BI exposure advantageous.

Contract Details

  • Rate: $85 $100 per hour super
  • Duration: 6 months (potential to extend)
  • Location: Perth-based or FIFO
