About the Tribe
With the GDC Division the Customer Onboarding & Interactions Tribe aims to continuously improve the quality of all services related to onboarding customers for all existing and new Euroclear business products. The Tribe is responsible for all movement related to the associated reference data and corporate packages used to interact with external entities. It manages all communication channels (email account models our group CRM solution and other client-facing systems) product and service catalogue customer subscriptions and the My Euroclear portal.
Role Overview
As a Tribe Release Engineer you will lead and coordinate release activities across the tribe ensuring smooth delivery and deployment of software solutions. Youll be a key driver of DevOps practices release readiness and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and streamline delivery and deployment processes.
- Drive and coordinate tribe-level releases to production.
- Communicate release status and progress to stakeholders.
- Assess and manage dependencies across release components.
- Align tribe releases with divisional and corporate release strategies.
- Prepare and orchestrate release testing (EUI).
- Promote continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Provide clear reporting on release plans and outcomes.
Core Activities
- Define and communicate annual release calendars.
- Scope plan and consolidate release content.
- Monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Identify and mitigate release-related risks.
- Improve delivery flow through value stream optimization.
- Track and resolve impediments.
- Collaborate with other Tribe Release Engineers to manage external dependencies.
- Coordinate with organizational release management.
- Facilitate system and solution demos with the Tribe Scrum Master.
- Serve as the first point of contact for:
- External queries related to tribe releases.
- Readiness of Pre-PROD and PROD environments.
- Ensure change readiness and quality for PPE and PROD launches.
- Actively participate in the Release Community of Practice (CoP).
- Lead Go/No-Go meetings post-PROD launch weekends.
- Follow up on production state and incidents with Squad Release Engineers and Service Managers.
- Engage with Business/Ops representatives to provide incident status updates.
- Collaborate with Squad Release Engineers to improve release practices and share best practices within the CoP.
- Support release aspects during PI introduction sessions.
