What will you do

As a Senior or Lead Roads Engineer you will contribute to the managing design and delivery of road and highway infrastructure projects that connect communities and improve mobility. Youll be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team working on some of Australias most significant transport infrastructure projects reimagining how roads can shape a more sustainable and connected world. You are also expected to:

• Undertake design and analysis for highways urban roads intersections and transport corridors.

• Perform and oversee geometric design other road and civil design elements including report writing leading a small team to deliver road designs or other civil projects / engineering activities.

• Support feasibility assessments concept and detailed designs and technical documentation.

• Work collaboratively with civil structural and transport specialists across Aurecons global offices.

• Contribute to project delivery through technical calculations reports and design models.

• Ensure design outputs align with relevant standards (Austroads Main Roads WA design supplements or equivalent).

• Support sustainability and innovation initiatives within project design.

What can you bring to the team

Firstly you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

• Registered professional Engineer

• At least 7-10 years roads design / civil experience

• Demonstrated Australian project experience will be viewed favorably

• Demonstrated roads design experience leading and directing designers and drafters and working in / leading a small multidisciplinary team.

• Open Roads Designer experience will be viewed favorably however applicants with other civil design packages such as 12d or Civil 3d will also be viewed favorably
