Opportunity Overview: This person will champion product excellence by crafting and executing innovative quality assurance protocols that elevate industry standards and delight customer through:
- Design of metal support structures to house the test equipment
- Design of custom plastic injection molded components
- Design of automated machinery to transport components within the test system
- Tolerance analysis of mechanical parts and assemblies to ensure proper function and assembly
- Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of critical assemblies and parts to ensure material strength in application
- Thermal analysis and component design to ensure sufficient cooling of electronics
- Packaging of electronics computers and PCBAs
- Cable routing and cable harness design
- Executing good Design for Manufacturing practices to achieve cost and service objectives
- Detailed drawing creation and documentation releases
- Use of ASME and GD&T drawing standards and practices

- BSME or MSME
- Self Motivated individual
- Project experience with mechatronics
- Hands-on problem-solving experience
- Solidworks CAD
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Background in GD&T
