We are currently seeking a skilled Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner) or PA (Physicians Assistant) specializing in this role you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of urology-related projects contributing to the overall success of our medical team.

As a Locum NP or PA in Urology your role will involve conducting patient assessments developing treatment plans assisting in surgical procedures and educating patients on urological conditions. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring positive patient outcomes and maintaining the reputation of our healthcare facility. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate closely with experienced medical professionals in the field of urology.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive urological assessments on patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Assist in urological surgeries and procedures as required.
  • Provide patient education on urological conditions and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with the medical team to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the urology department.
  • Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physicians Assistant (PA) license.
  • Specialization or experience in Urology is preferred.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-3:30p

Setting: Inpatient

Patient Census: 10 per day

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
