We are currently seeking a Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services in the Warren area. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the well-being of patients and supporting the healthcare team. Responsibilities:
- Conducting medical examinations and assessments of obstetric and gynecological patients.
- Developing and implementing patient care plans in line with best medical practices.
- Performing surgical procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology.
- Providing consultations to patients regarding their health concerns.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Keeping accurate medical records and documentation.
- Participating in medical rounds and case conferences.
- Staying updated on the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.
Requirements:
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid medical license to practice in the Warren area.
- Proven experience in providing obstetric and gynecological care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Schedule: 24-hour beeper call (Friday 8a-Tuesday 8a) specific dates
Expected Patient Volume: 2 or fewer deliveries
Will only becalled in for mother/baby in distress or c-sections
Midwives take first call
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
