Job Summary
1.0 Visual Art Teacher (with a concentration in teaching Photography) at Westford AcademyWestford Public Schools has an immediate opening for a Substitute Visual Art Teacher with a concentration in teaching Photography and AP Studio Art for approximately 4 weeks. The ideal candidate:*Demonstrates solid working knowledge of the concepts processes and techniques related to teaching various art mediums - including photography (either analog or digital) as well as leading students in AP Art and Design and foundational art skills*Guide the learning process toward the achievement of district and school curriculum goals*Establish clear objectives for all lessons units projects and communicate these objectives to students*Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and instructional effectiveness with all studentsThis position would report to the K-12 Visual and Performing Arts Curriculum Coordinator and School Principal.
