Job Summary
Leidos is seeking a Database Administrator for a technical development program supporting the Sponsors Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM Authentication Authorization Attributes and Digital Policy Management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Overall responsibilities as a Database Administrator include performing all necessary procedures for several databases across several environments. Specific development test and production responsibilities will include:
- Install and maintain database software including Oracle 11 and PostgreSQL hosted on AWS Relational Database Service (RDS).
- Provide software developers with database schema designs adhering to relational database best practices
- Providing corporate applications with DBA consultation and technical support for relational databases
- Evaluate and update database designs for better performance.
- Address integration between databases.
- Maintain database documents and procedures.
- Support database security hardening.
- Address and troubleshoot technical problems.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Requires Masters degree and 15 years experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
- AWS experience.
- Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements.
- Experience with Oracle MS SQL UNIX PostgreSQL and Linux.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with database migration tools such as Flyway
- Experience supporting COTS platforms
- Experience working with / handling Highly Sensitive Data

Pay Range:
Pay Range $148850.00 - $269075.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
