Clinical Nurse Lead

Reporting to the Care Centre Manager this role will help to provide leadership support and clinical guidance to our incredible Care Centre team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in providing clinical guidance day to day direction and leadership to the Care Centre team.
• Working closely with Care Centre Manager to help support safe operation of the care team.
• Active involvement with the Summerset quality management programme.
• Consult with residents and their advocates to establish shared expectations of care and service delivery
• Acting as a clinical liaison for health care team members with a key focus on the primary care team pharmacists podiatrists physiotherapist dietitian and specialist services that are required for individual residents.

This is a full time role between Monday and Friday with a commencement date of January 2026.

Qualifications :

About You: 

Youll bring experience in a clinical environment with a deep understanding of the aged care sector and Te Whatu Ora standards. Youll be an experienced Clinical Nurse Lead with solid aged care experience in New Zealand.

Youll also bring: 

• A Registered Nurse with  a current NZNC practising certificate and your PDRP achieved to level 2-4
• A high degree of clinical expertise ideally in the aged care sector
• Computer literacy including clinical care systems
• A team player with a strong commitment to be a positive influence coach and mentor
• A skilled communicator with a proven ability to build positive relationships.
