Admissions Operations Coordinator Department:Admissions Location:Remote in Missouri Type:Full-time staff Pay: $18.15 per hour (Pay range may vary based on geographic location) Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Job Summary: The Admissions Process Coordinator is responsible for the admissions application process for undergraduate and graduate admissions and performs other clerical duties supporting the admissions process. Essential Functions: - Perform job duties in accordance with Columbia Colleges vision mission and values and contribute to the development of the Admission Operations Department.
- Review completed and incomplete application files for admission to the college for undergraduate and graduate admissions.
- Track undergraduate and graduate admission file process and verify the accuracy of applicant file information.
- Process supporting documents for all applicants as needed by entering the information into the college student database and imaging documents to the applicant/student file.
- Answers telephone and visitor inquiries and disseminates information on admissions and the application process.
- Attend and assist with admissions office recruitment events as needed.
- Processing volume must consistently meet accuracy and quantity expectations.
- Prioritize tasks based on an understanding of critical enrollment dates daily priorities student needs and institutional initiatives.
- Provide support in projects such as testing and development of improvement projects within the office.
- Manages conflicting information reviews.
- Understands compliance requirements of admission decision-making.
- Reviews admission decisions while complying with federal state and institutional policy.
- Practice superior customer service.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Display respect and civility to all constituencies in all communications.
- Attend work timely and on a regular basis during the established hours of operation; work additional hours as business necessitates.

Required Core Competencies and Professional Experience: - Ability to fluently read write and understand the English language.
- Proficiency with the following but not limited to active listening speaking writing critical thinking judgment and decision making monitoring reading comprehension time management coordination and management of personnel resources.
- Proficiency in using a variety of computer and technology-related software and equipment including Microsoft Office products and database systems.
- Proficiency in using web-based technologies including database systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with or without direct supervision.
- Excellent communication interpersonal customer service and organizational skills.
- Accurate data entry detail-oriented and task-driven with the ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of organization planning records management and general administration.

Special Requirements: Preferred experience with TargetX and Salesforce Preferred experience with Hyland OnBase. Preferred experience with Ellucian Colleague.
