Synergie has Partnered witha leader in Australian manufacturing and heavy engineering is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Spray Painter to join our team in Prestons NSW.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-equipped facility applying high-quality coatings to fabricated steel structures and components for major industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Industrial spray painting using airless spray systems
- Applying polyurethane coatings and high-build epoxies
- Surface preparation including masking sanding and cleaning
- Ensuring all painted components meet required specifications and finish quality
- Mixing and preparing paints and materials according to technical data sheets
- Maintaining spray equipment and tools in clean working order
- Adhering to strict WHS policies and safe handling of hazardous materials
Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial spray painting
- Skilled in airless spray pumps (Graco or similar)
- Experience applying polyurethane and epoxy coatings
- Ability to read and follow job specifications and technical data sheets
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Knowledge of WHS regulations and safe work practices
- Forklift licence or confined space ticket (advantageous but not essential)
