Job Summary
We are hiring for a Painter / Handyperson to join us on Part Time Basis. As a painter you will be responsible for preparing and painting various surfaces and rooms. The successful candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail and take pride in producing quality work.
In addition you will be responsible for addressing a range of maintenance issues including guest requests back of house areas and general safety.
Key Responsibilities:
general maintenance including painting of guest rooms and back of house areas;
- responding to a range of guest requests as a first priority;
- investigating and actioning jobs assigned to you in a timely manner;
- completing tasks as part of the preventative maintenance program;
- encouraging the effective use of energy and water resources.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will have:
- superior problem solving skills;
- a flexible work attitude;
- excellent customer service skills;
- a strong desire to work in a service focused environment with a pro-active approach;
- strong communication skills (verbal written and computer);
- knowledge of Work Health and Safety regulations;
- self-motivated approach and interest to developing yourself through learning.
