Opportunity

We are looking for a talented mid-level Strategist with a passion for solving complex challenges and conveying ideas through engaging writing. You will be responsible for contributing to a team focused on brand marketing and communications innovation experience and culture initiatives. You will work across diverse categories on challenging projects that require deep thinking insight development creative solutions and copywriting.

This is a hybrid position and will require in-office time. We are looking for someone who can work out of our Chicago Irvine or San Diego office on a weekly basis.

What You Will Do

• Contribute to building brands from the ground up refreshing existing brands and bringing them to life through marketing and communications web digital products people & culture and experiences. Dig and research to fuel our thinking including heavy desk research field research interviewing and other forms of consumer research.
• Develop insights and write briefs for the client and internal teams.
• Develop content for proposals meetings workshops and final project output.
• Write brand narratives brand platforms brand messaging and brand copy for multiple channels.
• Contribute to original perspectives to support client work and agency thought-leadership
• Create and participate in collaborative idea generation workshops with clients.
• Produce a stellar work product to the Envoy standard on-time every time.
• Track your time on projects and assorted other operational expectations.
• Represent Envoy and its values with professionalism respect and contagious enthusiasm.

Qualities and Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Adept at copywriting and articulating clear and concise strategies and perspectives for external audiences.
• Understanding of business brand marketing and experience design principles.
• Travel when deemed necessary and appropriate.
• Ambition to better yourself and the organization through daily learning and persistence.
• Pragmatic optimism with a focus on what can (and must) be done.
• A love of figuring things out on your own and the humility to ask for help.
• Ability to share opinions and challenge others in a respectful way.
• Enthusiasm for virtual sleuthing and turning information into insights
• A flat-out love and recognized skill in writing for brands.
• Self-awareness and confidence within the team and in-front of clients.
• A healthy dose of not taking yourself so seriously.

What We Offer

The salary range for this position is between $95000 - $105000 plus benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level competencies and work location.
