We are looking for a Senior Signaling System Engineer with in-depth expertise in ETCS Level 2 (European Train Control System Level 2) to join an important project in Portugal. You will become part of an amazing team of professionals passionate about the railway sector.

Responsibilities

Lead the design development and implementation of ETCS Level 2 signaling solutions.
Provide technical expertise in signaling systems engineering ensuring compliance with ERTMS standards.
Define system architecture and oversee system integration and validation activities.
Implement security protocols and ensure alignment with industry standards.
Conduct requirements analysis system specification and safety assessments for ETCS L2 projects.
Support RAMS (Reliability Availability Maintainability and Safety) aspects of signaling systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration.

Technical Skills / Must be clearly listed on your CV

BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering Telecommunications Computer Science or a related field (mandatory).
Proven experience in railway signaling engineering.
Solid hands-on experience with ERTMS and ETCS Level 2 systems.
Strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
