Job Summary:

Were seeking a team-oriented and detail-driven Production Scheduler to help us keep our operations running smoothly and this role youll play a key part in ensuring our products are delivered on time and to the highest standards by developing smart production schedules coordinating across departments and maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a master production schedule that clearly outlines products to be manufactured quantities required and target completion dates

  • Monitor jobs in progress to provide timely updates and proactively address potential delivery concerns.

  • Update daily and weekly production schedules to reflect current activities and priorities.

  • Serve as a key point of contact between logistics customer service sales and plant operations to ensure alignment and timely communication.

  • Initiate and optimize stock transfers for production materials consolidating shipments to reduce transportation costs.

  • Coordinate and participate in inventory counts (weekly monthly annual) to ensure accuracy of raw materials and work-in-progress (WIP).

  • Maintain inventory levels through effective scheduling aligned with logistics targets financial budgets and sales trends.

  • Analyze demand forecasts to support production planning and inventory control.

  • Assess plant capacity and resource requirements recommending solutions to address short- and long-term challenges.

  • Use planning tools such as MRP/CRP to develop production plans that balance service levels plant capacity and inventory goals.

  • Track and report on inventory and production levels to support decision-making.

  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication to resolve scheduling conflicts and competing priorities.

  • Complete administrative tasks related to production scheduling and planning.

  • Support other functions as needed based on team priorities and supervisor guidance.

Education & Certifications

  • Bsc Degree in a related field.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments.

  • Familiarity with product lines including part numbers and descriptions.

  • Understanding of cost accounting bills of material and routing concepts.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and inclusive environment.
