Production WorkerJob Description
The Production Operator is responsible for setting up operating and monitoring multiple PC-based machines to assemble and process individual products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Murrysville Pa.
Your Role:
Perform quality checks on products according to defined specifications and instructions ensuring consistent output and compliance with standards.
Communicate any production disruptions or deviations to the Manufacturing Group Leader for quick resolution and minimal downtime.
Operate a variety of machines and equipment safely and efficiently following all work instructions and safety protocols.
Set up and adjust equipment to meet manufacturing specifications ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality requirements.
Monitor product output closely identifying and addressing defects by either discarding or reworking products as needed. Use basic computer skills to follow digital work instructions log test results and manage production documentation.
Youre the right fit if:
You have a high school diploma or GED.
You have familiarity with basic manufacturing principles and machine operations
You are able to monitor quality and maintain high standards and are comfortable with basic digital literacy and electronic recordkeeping
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Production/Assembler position.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
This is an onsite role.

The pay range for this position in PA is $17.75 to $26.19 an hour.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills experience business needs geographical location and internal equity.
In addition other compensation such as an annual incentive bonus sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
