Job Summary

Join a Dynamic Leadership Team Accountant
Location: Little Falls Roodepoort

A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join its leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records analysing site performance and ensuring smooth accounting operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Process and review daily transactions (Income Statement & Balance Sheet)
Analyse and validate site data for accuracy and integrity
Conduct internal revenue and expense reviews
Reconcile creditor and debtor accounts and control age analyses
Process daily revenue and expense accruals
Perform suspense account reconciliations before finalising management accounts
Manage supplier and ad-hoc payments including bank uploads
Track and report accounting discrepancies site audits and wetstock performance

Requirements:

South African Citizen
Minimum Bachelors degree in Accounting or Financial Management (or equivalent)
Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial acumen
2 years of relevant accounting experience (retail exposure advantageous)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work to deadlines and in a collaborative team environment
Code 8 Drivers License
