Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

Our client a leading NGO in the funding of Entrepreneurs is seeking a Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Specialist to join their team on a 2 year contract. The M&E Specialist will be responsible for ensuring robust practices around the design and collection of data which follow sound M&E practices and evaluate the progress of Entrepreneurs throughout the programme from application to completion

Desired Experience & Qualification

Must have:

A Masters degree in monitoring & evaluation social sciences statistics or other relevant discipline

At least 5 years M&E experience working on monitoring evaluation and research managing data intensive programs and designing monitoring and evaluation methodologies and tools.
Tech-savvy with solid experience in Data Analytical tools eg SPSS Python R
Experience in knowledge management and dissemination of research findings.
Demonstrated expertise in the design and implementation of rigorous quantitative and qualitative research studies rapid appraisals and methods for data analysis preferred.
Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders.
Past exposure or experience in youth development and/or working in different African markets will be an advantage.
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
Passionate about the transformative power of entrepreneurship.
