Job Summary

At AWS were looking for an experienced Editor and Creative Storyteller to join our newly established Content Studio team. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on developing strategic narrative frameworks and creative storytelling concepts for AWS marketings integrated demand plans and campaigns. Within the AWS Content Studio youll play a crucial role in transforming complex technical narratives into into engaging memorable stories. The Content Studio is AWS Marketings primary content and asset production function responsible for developing the full spectrum of creative and non-creative digital content that powers our global marketing initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
Develop and own strategic narrative frameworks for integrated demand plans and campaigns
Lead ideation sessions and develop creative storylines
Transform complex information into engaging memorable stories
Collaborate with colleagues across Content Studio Integrated Demand Product Marketing and others to ensure story cohesion across different channels/mediums
Ensure compliance with Brand guidelines for the voice tone and messaging architecture for content
Identify opportunities for emotional connection and brand resonance

About the team
The Marketing Content Studio lives within the Integrated Demand Center (IDC). The IDC is responsible for designing and delivering globally scalable demand campaigns that reflect AWSs top business priorities. The Demand Center sets campaign strategy develops and localizes core content executes across owned and paid media channels manages the customer journey and tracks performance through an analytics and measurement function. The Content Studio develops content for the Campaigns and supports broader AWS Marketing content needs. The studio houses video copywriting UX and design teams. It aims to increase impact and reusability of content across channels and audiences.

- 9 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation macros charts and pivot tables)
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience building executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

- Experience working cross-functionally and driving decision making among stakeholders with competing goals
- Experience with various types of research methodologies is key including quant qual 1P & 3P data trend analysis & forecasting etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
