Shipping and Receiving Clerk - 1st Shift (Non-Exempt)

The Plant Shipping and Receiving Clerk will work out of our Brownwood Texas manufacturing facility and report to the Plant Quality Manager. The key responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to:

Receive products from vendor deliveries within ERP system and coordinate physical receiving activities

Ability to provide front desk coverage during non-peak hours

Supports the distribution of supplies during non-peak hours

Compare BOLs and packing lists to Ethos purchase orders to ensure vendor deliveries are the correct product and quantities

Ensure product delivery documentation is maintained and in compliance with all Ethos policies

Coordinate with Ethos procurement regarding vendor missed deliveries and/or delays

Coordinate preparation of shipping documentation for non-conforming product shipments

Assists Plant Controller with ad hoc projects and reports relating to receiving/shipping function

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma GED or equivalent

At least 1-2 years of warehousing and manufacturing experience

Must be willing to submit a background check and pre-employment drug screening

Must be eligible to work in the US

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Understanding of OSHA safety rules for warehouse work

Prior experience in inventory control

Working knowledge of system transactions related to shipping and receiving and a base level experience working with spreadsheets

Forklift Certified

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to push pull carry or lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours

Ascend/descend a ladder or stairs daily

Ability to operate a computer and other office technology

Occasionally position self to access low spaces

Ability to observe details at close range

Must be able to relay accurate information via multiple communication vehicles including verbal and written mechanisms

Must be able to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures

Occasionally position self to access low spaces
