Job Summary

Job Title: Licensed Architect

Location: California (Remote)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Licensed Architect to join our California-based design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in all phases of architectural design and a deep understanding of California building codes accessibility standards and sustainability practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage architectural design projects from concept through construction documentation and administration.
Ensure compliance with the California Building Code (CBC) Title 24 and local jurisdictional requirements.
Collaborate closely with clients consultants contractors and design teams to achieve project goals.
Prepare and review architectural drawings specifications and project documents.
Oversee project schedules budgets and quality control throughout all project phases.
Conduct site visits and coordinate with construction teams to ensure design intent is executed accurately.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal design and technical standards.

Qualifications:

California Architect License (active and in good standing).
Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architecture.
Proficiency in Revit AutoCAD SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong knowledge of CBC ADA Title 24 and CALGreen standards.
Excellent design visualization and communication skills.
LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design preferred.
