WHAT YOULL DO:
- Work closely with Service Department to ensure a high level of parts support is being delivered.
- Research source and price parts for service repairs.
- Determine parts needs through the use of literature computer programs and parts knowledge.
- Pull parts and stage for service technicians and customers.
- Maintain knowledge of products services and parts and the associated costs of each.
- Complete all necessary paperwork on each transaction in an accurate timely manner.
- Provide relief as needed for front counter parts members. This includes (but is not limited to) responding to customers in person or by telephone whenever required and providing quotes or estimates for parts.
- Process credits make adjustments and monitor restocking charges on all parts sales completed.
- Performing shipping/receiving and warehouse duties as assigned.
- This team member will work Monday- Friday 11:30 am- 8:00pm.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Self-motivated and assertive drive the ability to work in solitude for most of your shift.
- Knowledge of Class 8 Truck parts.
- Experience with ECAT or a similar program is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in parts sales or diesel tech.
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast pace and team-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers by telephone and in person in an effort to sell company parts and other services.
- Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
- Above-average organizational skills
- Cash handling experience
- The ability to lift heavy items sometimes over 100lbs but often times over 40lbs
- Knowledge of parts inventory preferred
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts. (Training is available)
Compensation: $17.33-24.27/hr (Depending on Experience)
