Job Summary
Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Houston TX
Contract Duration: 12 Weeks
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Pay Rate (Local): Up to $2800 per week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Mammography Technologistfor an exciting job in Houston TX.
Required Qualifications:
Active Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT)
MRT issued by the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting.
Strong knowledge of mammography equipment radiation safety and quality assurance standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
Ensure accurate patient identification and proper documentation of all imaging activities.
Maintain and operate mammography equipment ensuring quality control and compliance with radiation safety guidelines.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal imaging results.
Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout the imaging process.
Adhere to all facility policies procedures and regulatory standards.
