Job Summary

Position: HW Commodity Specialist II (multiple positions available)
Location: Seattle WA
Multiple Positions Available:
forecasts and sourcing plans in support of customer demand.
with a range of stakeholders including supply chain operations engineering and suppliers to drive supply profiles and to support on-time material availability.
business and technology trends to identify process improvement opportunities reduce costs and minimize risks for AWS and its customers.
material inventories for AWS data centers
and monitor performance of suppliers
cross-functional meetings with clear document writing agenda creation note capture and follow-up activity coordination.
as an escalation point for teams to remediate supplier/material risks.
and international travel up to 10% to perform role responsibilities may be required
A Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management Logistics Engineering or related discipline and 2 years of experience in job offered or a related the alternative a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management Logistics Engineering or related discipline followed by 5 progressively responsible years of experience in job offered or a related occupation.
Experience must include:
1.2 years of experience within Logistics Transportation or Distribution Center processes and system
2.2 years of experience in a cross-functional organization utilizing sophisticated quantitative analysis and process improvement methodologies including lean process manufacturing and related performance metrics for continuous improvement optimization and to increase efficiency within processes.
3.2 years of data center and/or cabling infrastructure
4.2 years of experience with data analysis tools such as Excel Pivot Tables SQL Tableau
The pay range for this position in Seattle WA is $127982- $139100 (yr); however base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position offered.
