Job Description
Executive - Quality Assurance (Field Quality).
Education: . Seed Science & Technology Agriculture or a closely related field.
Position Purpose: to oversee and ensure the quality of our seed production.
He will play a critical role in ensuring all field practices adhere to the highest standards.
This position requiring extensive knowledge of field production for various crops involves extensive travelling.
Responsibilities:
- Should be able to design and generate robust standard operating processes (SOPs) for monitoring Field production of various vegetable and Field crops.
- Develop and implement detailed inspection plans and checklists for field quality evaluations.
- Conduct regular audits of field operations to assess crop quality and adherence to established protocols.
- Analyze data from field inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Work closely with field production teams to ensure proper procedures are followed during all stages of crop growth and development.
- Implement best practices for field production to optimize quality and yield.
- Maintain accurate records of all field activities and production data design and generate reports on regular basis.
Qualifications:
. in Seed Science and Technology or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of demonstrably successful experience in field quality assurance.
- Proven experience in conducting field audits and inspections.
- Excellent knowledge of production practices including planting fertilization pest management and harvesting.
- Ability to identify and diagnose potential problems with vegetable and field crops.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel to field locations.
