CAM Engineer (Job level P1)

Location: Koregaon Pune

We are looking for Computer aided Manufacturing Engineer to contribute positive change and lead towards machining excellence. Responsibilities:

• To generate CAM Program considering all Safety norms.
• You should be able to generate Cam prog for VMC & Turn mill centre.
• Trouble shouting cause analysis & support to seamless production in routine shift.
• Interpret engineering drawings 3D models and technical specifications.
• Optimize tool paths for efficiency surface finish and tool life.
• Select appropriate cutting tools speeds and feeds for various materials.
• Simulate and verify tool paths to prevent collisions and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain documentation for all programs and revisions.
• Contribute to process improvements.

Competencies Required:

• Should have strong awareness of safety protocols and practices.
• Must possess sound knowledge and hands-on experience in Computer-Aided Machining (CAM) supported by relevant qualifications and certifications.
• Should be well-versed in various machining processes and strategies.
• Must have practical expertise in applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Should demonstrate hands-on experience in machine setup and program prove-out for efficient machining.
• Must exhibit strong analytical skills and a passion for solving complex challenges.
• Should have a solid understanding of materials and their behavior during machining.
• Knowledge of Vericut software is preferred.
• Should be proficient in advanced CNC programming techniques.
• Must collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.
• Should be an attentive and active listener.
• Must be adaptable flexible and open to change.

Qualification and Experience:

• Graduate Mechanical engineer through recognized university.
• UG NX CAM Certified.
• 3-5 years experience in UG NX having experience in Computer added manufacturing. Preferred to have experience in Automobile aerospace & Tooling industries medical device & component.
