Mount Farm Surgeryare seeking an experienced treatment room nurse to join our friendly supportive and well-established practice team. This position is offered on a part-time basis minimum of 15 hours but negotiable for the right candidate.
The treatment room nurse will work as part of the primary healthcare team providing personal medical services to the patients of the surgery.
These will include carrying out:
- Vaccinations.
- Cervical screening.
- Long term condition reviews.
- Wound care.
- ECGs.
- Health promotion.

The post-holder will have the required level of training and competence and will work within patient group directions where these are available.
You will require:
Mount Farm Surgery is an innovative and professional teaching practice in Suffolk located on the outskirts of the cathedral town of Bury St. Edmunds with close links to the A14.
Our practice team consists of GPs plus a dedicated clinical team including GP trainees an ECP ACP nurses and HCAs. We have a dedicated management team plus a large team of other administrative staff.
Our membership of Bury St Edmunds PCN ensures we have an extended team which includes a paramedic home visiting service on site clinical pharmacists and a practice based care co-ordinator.
- Single-site practice serving 16000 patients
- High QOF achievers
- Rated Good in all areas at most recent CQC inspection
- SystmOne clinical system
- Electronic Prescribing System
- Highly respected training practice
- Regular clinical/educational meetings
- Mentoring scheme for salaried GPs and other clinical staff
- Non-personalised lists with equitable division of workload and capped workload for salaried GPs
- Paper light and embracing new technology
