Operational Apprenticeships - Anglian Water Careers
This is a hands-on practical role working outside in a variety of weather; the work is varied rewarding and at times challenging but no two days are the same! Once qualified youll join a 24/7 standby rota because your role is vital.
Whatyoulldo:
Testing effluent
Working alongside our scientists.
Carrying out vital processes including screeningsettlementand biological treatment
Support fault diagnosis and keep equipment running efficiently
Work alongside experienced technicians and follow health & safety rules
Take ownership of your development and contribute to team success
Whatwerelooking for:
English andMathsGCSEs(grades 94/A*C) we can also accept Level 2 Functional Skills -predicted grades will be accepted if you have not yet completed your exams
Genuine interest in the water industry and protecting the environment
Good communicationskills and a team mindset
Willingness to work outdoors and learn new things
If you do not currently hold a full UK drivinglicenceyoullneed to obtain one by the end of year two of theprogramme or if thisisntpossible due to your age within one year of your 17th birthday.
